        We are currently searching for Temp-To-Hire Line Operators for 1st and 2nd Shift on the West Side of Rockford (61102). The ideal candidates can capitalize on job stability, future advancement opportunities and a "GREAT" benefit package! There are multiple positions available: * $13.50/hr during the program* Flexible Shifts Available - Ex: 5am to 3:30pm - 6am to 4:30pm - 7am to 5:30pm (or) 3pm to 1:30am - 5pm to 3:30am* 30-miinute unpaid lunch and 2 - "20-minute paid breaks!" * Monday thru Friday with overtime available! Stable, full-time schedule! * Very little experience necessary* The machines are fully automated * There will be a rate increase upon full-time hire and a progressive raise program moving forward* "GREAT" benefit package!Responsibilities:Line Operators are responsible for the overall operation of the machines (no maintenance) while nuts, bolts, fasteners and other related parts are processed per order standards. Line Operators verify conformance through contact inspection processes and final inspection to the customer. Line Operators will record issues related to the products and quality requirements. Once orders are processed, line operators will have a material handler deliver the completed products to the shipping department or the next operation if needed.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)Skills:* Possess the ability to read and write with good communication skills* Work well with fellow team members to ensure superior job performance* Good Housekeeping skills* Prepares completed products for shipping in a well organized manner * Possess a detail oriented approach to ensure that quality products are produced in a consistent, efficient manner* Light lifting during the course of the shift* Must possess the ability to work both on and off the forklift on a regular basis* Records information pertaining to all shipping and receiving manifests and files accordingly* Operates equipment in a safe and proper manner to prevent injury or equipment damage* Prepares products for shipping in a well organized manner as well as products and materials received at the facility* Works well with fellow team members to ensure superior job performanceEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:* If you can stand all day during the shift, be a good listener and learn new skills - you will be successful moving forward! * Candidates will interview at the client site to determine if the position is the right fit for you!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
