Join Spherion's team as a Seasonal- Human Resources Assistant.
Pay range $20 - $22/hour. It is only seasonal from now until mid-November, or even December. Likely start 8/25/25.
Responsibilities:
Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and organizing HR documents.
Maintain and update employee records in both physical and electronic files.

Assist with scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations.
Prepare orientation materials and ensure meeting spaces are set up.
Collect and process new hire paperwork, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Answer basic employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
Support HR staff in recruiting activities, such as posting jobs and scheduling interviews.
Track and follow up on pending HR documentation.
Assist with maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in HR or business preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities at once, and adapt quickly to changing needs.
Quick learner with the ability to grasp new processes and systems efficiently.
Maintains a positive and friendly attitude with professionalism and proper office etiquette.

Qualifications:
2+ year of administrative or office support experience (HR experience a plus).
Basic understanding of HR processes and confidentiality requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry.
