        An industry leading manufacturer of LPG and NH3 products is seeking a Qualified Quality Technician to join their team!As a Quality Technician, you are responsible for performing quality inspections to support the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure items meet design specifications and safety regulations. Inspect components and assemblies before releasing to the next operation, analyze trial products during development and certify finished goods as required. Records and analyzes the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products. Data used to solve productions issues and recommend improvements.Responsibilities:-Develops the implementation of the quality systems at the high liability manufacturing level.-Supports in-process inspection training activities-Performs ongoing audits, monitors processes, and records the results-Audits processes to ensure the ongoing reliability of manufacturing processes.-Develop and implement in process inspection activities that prevent nonconforming material (IPC???s)-Detect and resolve problems, and deliver satisfactory outcomes.-Uses high level measuring equipment and component drawings to troubleshoot production problems and reports findings to manufacturing engineering/supervisors/managers-Consult with management to resolve quality, production and efficiencies problems-Analyzes quality data (quality logs, RMA???s, scrap data, etc.) using excel, pareto, run charts/trend graphs, etc.-Facilitates team problem solving using problem solving tools (Fishbone, 5-Why, Is-Is not) and MEC documentation-Facilitate gage calibration and ensure gages are calibrated at the point if use-Conducts QMS internal audits-Coordinates all activities with Quality and Production Supervisors-Assist with product testing and training as needed-Assist in data entry-Any other job duties identified by managementWorking hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:-Able to read blue prints/job travelers-Attention to detail-Must be able to work with hand tools-Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions-Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb and bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment - may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
