This is a fully remote position, with the option to work from our Madison office if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and identify technical candidates using a variety of channels (internal database, job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals)
- Screen resumes and conduct candidate interviews to assess qualifications, technical skills, and job fit
- Maintain strong pipelines of active and passive candidates for recurring technical roles
- Stay current on IT hiring trends, technologies, and market condition
- Partner with clients to determine talent acquisition objectives, write job descriptions, and develop recruitment strategies
- Help guide candidates through the client interview, offer, and onboarding process, offering coaching as needed and celebrating their success
- Perform skills evaluations, background checks, drug screens, and employee verifications
- Support employees on assignment by monitoring satisfaction and performance
- Maintain accurate records in our internal systems
- Network and represent Spherion at community events, e.g., job fairs, professional association events
- Uphold organizational values in all communication and interactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree; or high school degree/GED and 4 years of relevant experience
- Prior recruiting and/or business development experience is a plus, but not required
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Quick to learn and navigate technology and recruiting tools
- Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to grow a career in technical recruiting
