      The Construction Services Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls to the Construction Services Department from internal and external customers. The Maintenance Scheduler serves as liaison between the Construction Services Department and those that utilize the Department's services, including other departments within the Company and outside customers. The Maintenance Scheduler may be assigned from time to time to lead and train employees within the Construction Services Department.Responsibilities:Answers incoming phone calls and provides a wide variety of information concerning the services offered by the Construction Services Department to employees of the Company and to customers of the Company; directs inquiries as appropriate; answers procedural questions; takes messages; interacts in person or on the phone with employees and customers who may be distraught or angry.Organizes and maintains a variety of files, including legal matters; tracks deadlines; ensures confidentiality of designated materials.Creates and documents work orders into appropriate data collection system(s).Schedules dates and times for the performance of work and follows up to ensure that previously scheduled appointments will be met.Coordinates work flow and directs activities of Construction Service Department.Prepares, assembles, and sends out proposals and contracts.Contract management.Tracks and maintains progress sheets for all proposals, quote summaries, and contracts.Secures all required permits for scheduled service projects.Maintains and monitors on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis all scheduled work for timely additions, changes, and other adjustments.Supervises daily scheduling of employees, vendors, and subcontractors.Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.Regular attendance.Travel as required.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Experiences frequent interruptions; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills; may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult individuals.Requires ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information received.Required to sit for prolonged periods; exposed to visual display terminal for prolonged periods; dexterity and precision required in the operation of a computer.Ability to handle multiple phone lines.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Must be able to establish and maintain customer oriented focus with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.Sitting up to 8 hours per day; Standing up to 8 hours per day.; Ability to walk, kneel, crawl, stoop, reach, and crouch.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Two to four years of experience in maintenance/construction field as a dispatcher.College degree preferred.General working knowledge and understanding of construction/maintenance terminology and requirements; Strong familiarity with Chico, CA region.Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the Company image.Ability to work in fast paced environment.Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively. Demonstrated skill in correct grammar, spelling, and English usage.Demonstrated focus on technical accuracy and clarity in preparation of contracts and proposals.Knowledge of general office procedures. High-level of computer skills. Demonstrated skill in operating a computer and ability to learn the use of specific software programs including word processing, Excel, spreadsheet, and desk top publishing.
