      Spherion is hiring a Customer Service Specialist in Plainfield, IN.Shift & Pay:Monday - Friday 8Am - 5PM - $17/HRWork Schedule:The position is will be remote after training is completed, with some onsite team meetings as needed. However, there is the potential for this to become hybrid in the future. Hybrid schedule would be 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. They will be provided a full home set up with (2) large monitors, a docking station, a mouse and keyboard for their remote and hybrid work.Responsibilities:This position is responsible for providing work management support for Customer Delivery Operations, while working within the parameters of established processes and standards with a moderate degree of oversight.This role utilizes business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) to prepare and engage in correspondence, presentations, and meetings, along with a Work Management System (Maximo) to manage work orders on a daily basis.This position assists in reconciling work order materials, labor, and equipment to represent actual field construction.Works to resolve errors and prepares for close-out of construction work orders in Maximo, develops skill sets to report units of property to asset accounting accurately and creates appropriate work order to complete follow-up work utilizing the most cost effective resource and skill set.This position is accountable for providing accurate and timely work results which support safety, reliability, storm restoration, and cost management while providing quality customer service.Along with maintaining organized files/records and customer appointment calendars, this role also schedules job assignments to servicemen, updates the emergency call-out system, performs work order close out, and maintains accurate date management.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:All training will be provided by Duke and will take 3-6 months to be fully independent and operationalSome administrative duties like ordering supplies, data entry, etc.Interact with linemen and dispatching; Will enter service requests, work orders for broken poles, etc.Be able to learn technical terms of the utility industryWork with schedulers, engineers, PMs; all personnel at ops center, as well as customersEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:Great communicator and organizedSelf-starter that works well independently and without guidanceMicrosoft Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Teams)Utility or underground experience preferred, Dispatching, Construction AdministrationCustomer service skills If qualified, please apply!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
