Other duties may be assigned.Detailed Work Activities:- Basic handyman skills: Perform repair of walls, doors, roofs, windows, light fixtures, prepare various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain repairs, lay forms, mixes, pours and finishes concrete for buildings, sidewalks and slabs.- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain grounds in clean and orderly manner including mowing, trimming, weeding, replaces plants as needed, sets sprinklers; replaces broken sprinkler heads; trims tree branches that could create hazardous situations.- Tools - to clean, lubricate, protect and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the shop area. To see that all tools used are returned to the shop and secured in the proper storage area. To protect and otherwise maintain your assigned tool pouch and its tools at the discretion of the Maintenance Management. - Be able to work with machinery and equipment- Be able to take instructions and follow orders from supervisor.- Be able to work and get along with people.Responsibilities:This position requires that all associates work Monday- Friday; some weekend and Holidays as required for business needs. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shifts as business demands.
