      The Tooling Engineer is responsible for the research, design, development, build, validation, and implementation of tooling for new and existing products, manufacturing, and production processes. This position reports to the Plant Manager. A typical day for a Tooling Engineer will consist of a daily conference call about new and existing sales quotations. During this time ECO?s will be reviewed and action plans completed. Afterwards, a discussion with the tooling team will be conducted for evaluation of work duties and deployment of your team.       Set-up and operate numerically controlled machine tools with single and/or multiple spindles in a safe manner. Monitor and control the quality of machining processes by utilizing process control tools such as; control charts and statistical process controls.
