        The role of the Maintenance Manager is to maximize production time available on equipment, to minimize upkeep costs, and to manage expenditures related to equipment, spare parts, and consumable items. The Maintenance Manager supports the plant production effort and must provide high quality repair and maintenance services that enable the plant to meet production goals.Responsibilities:- Job Functions include managing all installations, maintenance, repair and upkeep of company facilities, structures, grounds and pavements, manufacturing equipment, material handling equipment, hazardous waste management, security and fire suppression systems, and pest management.- Must manage, maintain, and establish maintenance processes for production lines in a food manufacturing environment. - Must develop and review maintenance metrics and performance.- Will provide leadership and manage subordinates. Will establish priorities and direction of maintenance personnel. - Will enable ongoing training that improves skill development, safety practices, and work standards.- Will work closely with plant operations. Will provide operational input to the Plant Manager.- Will coordinate maintenance schedules to work with and around production schedules. - Will support plant operations in the areas of safety, quality, training, and audit compliance.- Leads and supports root-cause analysis within the maintenance team regarding unplanned machine failures, breakage, and damage.- Assists the Plant Manager in training personnel on proper operations, cleaning, lubrication, trouble shooting, and adjustments on the production equipment.- Oversees the storeroom and spare parts inventory to ensure that needed parts are available.- Maintains the documentation of equipment history. Ensures the proper documentation of preventive maintenance work that was performed.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:- Safe work habits must be ingrained in subordinates and followed by contract maintenance and vendor services personnel. - Employee safety must receive sustained attention, and there must be no accidents due to unsafe conditions.- High quality standards and operational efficiencies are emphasized. Must minimize equipment downtime. - Employee creativity and involvement are solicited and encouraged.- Maintenance scheduling, planning and training processes must be emphasized. - Preventative maintenance must be performed timely. Production equipment problems must be immediately evaluated, and timely assistance must be provided.- Adequate leadership and management must be provided to enable achievement of plant goals, excellent personnel performance, and employee growth through significant coaching and skills development.- Repair parts for facilities and manufacturing equipment must be maintained at a minimum level in support of "lean thinking" philosophy and budget restrictions.- Production schedules must not be hampered by faulty machinery or poor housekeeping.- Emphasis is placed on preventive maintenance programs along with work areas that are free from clutter.- Company property must be protected. Must monitor equipment to prevent loss from abuse, carelessness, or theft. - Must ensure the continuity of fire prevention procedures and fire suppression support equipment. Production equipment will be maintained in an operational state of readiness.- All maintenance paperwork, records, and reports are completed accurately and submitted in time to meet any scheduling deadline. - Personnel complaints and worker problems arising on the job must receive prompt, fair, and impartial attention. - Files are maintained to enable review of the circumstances and to support Company decisions.Education:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:- B.S. degree is prefe

        This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and making repairs on all torque wrenches, air and battery tools within the working area.
