        A rapidly growing distribution company in Odessa is looking to build a team that is cohesive and hard-working to complete their daily operations. Are you hard-working? Do you have retail and cashier experience? Have you always wanted to try a career path in manufacturing, but have never been able to get your foot in the door? This may be your perfect chance! Long term temp assignments are available ASAP! Permanent positions may be an option in some situations. Your primary responsibility as a picker will be using a computer and an RF scanner to scan the products against the order sheets. Your primary responsibility as a packer will be packaging the scanned order and passing it on to shipping.Responsibilities:Pickers: Will use a grocery cart to pick products in order of the paper work order, in a snake-like pattern up and down the isles. Each work order products go into their own separate boxes, once completed they'll put on a pallet for the supervisor to take over to the Check station once completed.Checkers: Will dump the contents of the box onto their table, pull the work order up in the computer. Using a handheld scanner, they'll scan the products to confirm the order in the computer. Checkers are responsible for picking any missing products to complete the order. Once completed, they mark it complete, it will invoice their customer and they'll pass the box of product down the line to the Packer.Packer: re-pack the boxes neatly, seal and prepare the shipping labels and stack on the pallet for shipping to pick up later.Shipper: Use a pallet jack to pick up completed pallets at end of Checking stations. Take to the wrapping machine, once aligned will take the end of the wrap to catch around the boxes, they will press a button to start the wrapping machine and walk away until it's finished. While the machine is wrapping, the talent will record the weight.         A rapidly growing distribution company in Odessa is looking to build a team that is cohesive and hard-working to complete their daily operations. Are you hard-working? Long term temp assignments are available ASAP! Permanent positions may be an option in some situations. Your primary responsibility as a picker will be using a computer and an RF scanner to scan the products against the order sheets. Your primary responsibility as a packer will be packaging the scanned order and passing it on to shipping.Responsibilities:Pickers: Will use a grocery cart to pick products in order of the paper work order, in a snake-like pattern up and down the isles. Each work order products go into their own separate boxes, once completed they'll put on a pallet for the supervisor to take over to the Check station once completed.Checkers: Will dump the contents of the box onto their table, pull the work order up in the computer. Using a handheld scanner, they'll scan the products to confirm the order in the computer. Checkers are responsible for picking any missing products to complete the order. Once completed, they mark it complete, it will invoice their customer and they'll pass the box of product down the line to the Packer.Packer: re-pack the boxes neatly, seal and prepare the shipping labels and stack on the pallet for shipping to pick up later.Shipper: Use a pallet jack to pick up completed pallets at end of Checking stations. Take to the wrapping machine, once aligned will take the end of the wrap to catch around the boxes, they will press a button to start the wrapping machine and walk away until it's finished. While the machine is wrapping, the talent will record the weight.
