This is a PERMANENT, DIRECT HIRE position that offers competitive pay and benefits and the opportunity to work for a tight-knit, family-owned business with great company culture and employee tenure.Responsibilities:Pull, terminate, dress and label Fiber and CAT5/6 cable. 90% of their work is CAT6, 10% fiber opticsTest all installed cable using appropriate testing equipmentPunch down voice and data jacksWork with lead technician installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc.Work from all size ladders and varied lifts (must be comfortable with heights)Read and interpret general system layouts from blueprintsWorking hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:Must be experienced and comfortable using hand toolsMust be comfortable working at heights (will use ladders on a regular basis)Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Prior cable experience is preferredMust have a driver's license and clean driving recordMust have steel toe bootsMust be able to work occasional after hours/weekends and out-of-town jobs (very infrequent).
