Responsible for the inspection of incoming and outgoing product. May receive direction from the QES Specialist as required. Shift and Pay:Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM $18/HRResponsibilities:- Performs incoming inspection on received product.- Reviews pick release requirements for inspection requirements, order quantity, box quantity and customer specific requirements. - Performs final inspection on outgoing product- Performs additional sorting and inspection on product requiring certification.- Handles and repackages finished products per prescribed methods.- References inspection standards, visual aids, limit samples, and other approved documentation or aids that define the inspection criteria for the product. - Measures product with rulers, tape measures, calipers, thickness gages, fixtures, or other gages required in the inspection of materials or product.- Performs detailed visual and tactile inspections when necessary to determine quality of product where limits are not clearly defined. - Ensures quality control of process through adherence to inspection and NCM procedures for disposition of product and communication of concerns.- Reports suspect or out-of-specification conditions to the QES Specialist for analysis and necessary action.       Tends machine that performs packaging operation.Responsibilities:Responsibilities: Assemble the dryer.Starts machine and observe to detect malfunctions.Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.Records temperature and airflow settings and product status (moisture, density and size when needed) every half hour on appropriate paperwork.Collect all appropriate samples as needed.Packages product appropriately when needed.Insures that all packaging is labeled and recorded correctly.Able to correctly shut machine down and disassemble for cleaning.Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PMSkills:Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Able to apply common sense understanding, to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Basic Computer Skills.Collects and researches data. Attention to detail. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
