      A fast growing home improvement company serving Southern MN and Northern IA is searching for a Human Resources Partner responsible for the standard HR functions including; working directly with Talent Acquisition Partners, interviewing, workplace safety, and benefits administration. But equally important, this person would focus on providing our employees with the very best employment experience possible in every aspect! They would be responsible for a positive welcome on employees first day making them feel special, to celebrating employee achievements, birthdays, company goals met, and more. Organizing employee events and enhancing the workplace fun factor that is already in place to ensure our employees feel valued and enjoy their jobs every day!Responsibilities: Manages the recruitment process by working directly with Talent Acquisition partners. This requires staying informed on the forecasted hiring needs and collaborating with Department Managers/Leads to understand the skills and qualifications necessary to fulfill those upcoming needs in order to meet customer deadlines and projects. This includes developing detailed Job Descriptions, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants, onboarding, scheduling drug screens, orientations, etc. Focus on employee retention. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Develops and administers various human resources plans for all company personnel. Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Oversees the administration of Workers' Compensation programs. Oversees all Benefits management including, but not limited to: PTO, Health, 401K, Unemployment, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. These include but are not limited to EEO reporting, OSHA and DOL regulations, etc. Unemployment claims Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. Conducts investigations and supports managers with employee relations Provides training for supervisors on HR best practices Creates, analyzes and presents HR data. Member of the Leadership Team.
