Responsible for processing, scheduling and coordinating all pre-operative appointments in a timely manner. 11. Responsible for obtaining referral prior authorizations from insurance companies. 12. Functions as a patient advocate. Is proactive in addressing patient needs and trouble shooting patient concerns. 13. Strives for excellence in customer service. Consistently demonstrates cultural competence and sensitivity. 14. Willingness to be cross-trained and work as needed in other positions such as patient registration, reception, etc. 15.
