      Our client, a Haines City manufacturer is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join their Night Shift. This position is responsible for maintenance, repairs and improves equipment used with plant operations. This is an immediate direct hire opportunity with compensation (DOE) + benefits package!Responsibilities:-Comply with GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES, safety, and audit standards-Identify and resolve issues with plant equipment before it becomes downtime events through proactive repairs, work order generation and replacement part identification-Create, update, and complete work orders in CMMS system-Receive, store and issue spare parts in CMMS-Complete assigned work in a timely manner, including scheduled PM?s, Reactive Maintenance and Special Projects-Create retrofits and fabrication-Complete machine tear down/repair/assembly and work on electric motors -Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations -Work with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met -Maintain partnerships with team members and vendors using effective communication -Must have own hand tools-Provide relief to maintenance team members when required -Like duties as assignedWorking hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMSkills:-Work independently or with a team and communicate effectively -Problem solving and decision-making skills-Able to work with an awkward posture for 2 hours or more -Willingness to work holidays and weekends -Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasksEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications desired -3+ years of maintenance experience in a high speed, industrial manufacturing environment -Strong troubleshooting, repair, fabrication and of Mechanical Systems-Pumps, Motors, Gearboxes-Packaging and Processing Equipment-Strong troubleshooting, repair, installation and configuration skills of industrial Electrical and Control Systems-24VDC, 120VAC, 230/240VDC and 460VAC-460VAC, 3-phase Motors and Control Systems-PLC Control Systems and related components, i.e. sensors, HMIs, etc. experience preferred-Computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook-CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience a plus-Sanitary stainless welding/fitting skills desiredK-nowledge of Utilities systems preferred, including industrial Heating (Boilers), Refrigeration (Ammonia) and Waste Water Treatment.
